FGCU dominates FIU on Senior Day, opens the 2014 season in style -Tianyu Bao www.eaglenews.org The FGCU swimming and diving team started off the 2014 season strong with a win over Florida International University, 189.5-109.5, last Saturday afternoon at T2 Aquatics in Naples. Congratulations to T2 Aquatics athletes Erika Erndl and Justine Bowker, and Elizabeth Pelton (Cal Aquatics) on their official selection to the USA Swimming National "A" Team! Each year, USA Swimming selects the top 6 athletes in each event, based off results from National Championship meets and International Championship meets. T2 Aqautics is one of only 5 USS "Club" Swimming Teams to have qualified multiple current athletes to the 2013 USA National Team (the others include NBAC, SwimMac, NCAC, and Mission Viejo). Way to go T2!

T2 Aquatics Head Swimming Coach Paul Yetter has recently been appointed by USA Swimming to represent the United States as the Men's Head Swimming Coach for the FINA World Junior Championships held August 26 through September 1st, 2013.  The Championships will be held in Dubai, UAE. Michael Lohberg Invitational Meet Recap June 20-23, 2013   T2 had 35 new individual team records set by 15 swimmers, 3 new relay team records set by 9 swimmers, 11 swimmers with 100% best times and 64 swimmers combined to achieve 18 new BB times, 52 new A times, 44 new AA  times, 26 new AAA times, and 3 new AAAA times! Also, T2 had 25 swimmers (including 8 brand new ones) achieve 52  new FLAG qualifying times and 11 swimmers achieve 19 new Summer Sectional qualifying times! Awesome job...

T2′S MATTHEW LIMBACHER BREAKS NATIONAL AGE GROUP RECORD IN 50 BREASTSTROKE Braden Keith May 19, 2013 SwimSwam T2 11-12 year old Matthew Limbacher has broken a record that is more than two decades old; at the T2 Norris Foundation meet in Naples, Florida. He posted a 31.62 to win the 11-12 age group in the 50 long course meter breaststroke.
