Naples Daily News:  Athlete of the Week: Carinn Bethea, Gulf Coast swimming

Gulf Coast High School swimmer Carinn Bethea has been voted the Naples Daily News Athlete of the Week for Oct. 7-12.  

Bethea helped the Shark girls win the Collier County Athletic Conference championship by winning four races - the 100 and 200 freestyles, the 200 medley relay and the 200 freestyle relay.  She earned 5,844 of the 12,670 votes (46.1 percent) i the Daily News' online poll.
