Michael Egan to join leadership team
Transcendent Training (T2) Aquatics (www.t2aquatics.com), Southwest Florida’s premier competitive swim club, has appointed Michael Egan to its leadership team as Chief Operating Officer. In his role, Egan will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring companywide alignment with competitive strategies. Egan will also manage social and media marketing, as well as work towards expanding adult programming options for the Naples Community.
Egan is the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of PAINCAVE (www.paincave.com), where he is responsible for all creative and business development. He also serves as a Multisport and Cycling Coach at Walton Endurance (www.waltonendurance.com). Egan has been featured in Men’s Health, Men’s Journal, BikeRumor, and Fox Small Business Weekly.
“Mike will play a key roll in positioning T2 for continued growth and success. His experience and expertise not only strengthen our staff, but will also help me execute on my vision for T2 beyond just what we offer as a year-round competitive swim club. His execution in taking PAINCAVE from an idea to a reality, while coaching athletes and racing full time as both a cyclist and triathlete, makes him a natural choice for T2,” said Kevin Erndl, founder-T2 Aquatics.
After a collegiate career as a Division 1 swimmer, Mike transitioned into the sport of triathlon as a means to stay in shape and improve his general fitness. After an initial health setback (Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma), Mike climbed the multi-sport ranks competing in many of the world’s most prestigious races, including the Ironman World Championships in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii. Also an experienced bike racer, Mike launched PAINCAVE in an effort to combine his passion for racing with his thirst for self-improvement, and his desire to help others achieve their goals.
Michael added, “I’ve been fortunate in that I’ve been able to turn my passion into a career, and I’ve had a love affair with Naples since I began visiting in 2004. What Kevin and his staff have built is truly remarkable, and I look forward to expanding on that vision and bringing the T2 experience to the entire endurance sport community here in Naples.”
