 — Seven members of the T2 Aquatics Masters performed well at the Rowdy Gaines Classic in Orlando during October.

Lisa Blackburn, Erika Erndl, David Gray, Margit Jebe, Susan Nolan, Mike Stollmeyer and Fred Wakelin combined to place seventh among 42 participating teams.

Formerly a part of the USA Swimming national team, Erndl broke age group (30-34) world records in the 100-meter individual medley and 100 freestyle. As the lead swimmer in the 800 mixed freestyle relay, she set a world record in the 200 freestyle.

In the 40-44 age group, Blackburn was first in the 100, 200 and 400 IM; 50, 100 and 200 breaststroke; and 50 and 100 freestyle; and second in the 50 butterfly and 100 backstroke.

· Wakelin (70-74) was first in the 200 and 1,500 freestyle; second in the 200 breaststroke; and third in the 50 and 100 breaststroke. Gray (40-44) was first in the 200 and 400 freestyle and fourth in the 100 IM.

Jebe (70-74) was first in the 50 and 100 breaststroke and 400 and 800 freestyle;’ and second in the 100 IM. Nolan (45-49) was second in the 400 freestyle; fourth in the 25 freestyle; fifth in the 50 butterfly and 100 freestyle; and sixth in the 50 and 200 freestyle. Stollmeyer (75-79) was first in the 25 breaststroke; 25 butterfly; and 25, 400 and 1,500 freestyle.

T2 Masters practices are from 5:30 to 7 a.m. Monday through Friday, noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday and 7 to 8:30 a.m. Saturdays at the Norris Aquatic Center. For information, contact Jon Caswell at [email protected].
